The Morris Plains Library will host our next Shredding Event in April 2025. Exact date TBD

The cost is $10.00 per bag/box. (Extra for Oversized bags or boxes)

*Please make sure there are no batteries or electronics in with your papers. Staples and Paperclips are OK.*

This is a Rain or Shine Event.

Time to clean out all your old files and papers cluttering up your life! Bring your papers, old bills, checks, receipts, mail etc. to the Morris Plains Library for shredding. This Event is a great fundraiser and easy way to help support your local Library.

Being a small library, we are limited on the amount and type of donations we can take. Please call before bringing in any donations. We can take newer adult hardcover and paperbacks in very good condition. Children/Teen Graphic Novels and Dvd’s also in very good condition. All donations accepted, are at the discretion of Staff. As always, please do not place donations in our book drop or outside our doors when closed.

Steve’s Crafting Corner was dedicated on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in memory of our friend, Steven Storgion. Steve worked at the Library for over 11 years. In addition to his library work, Steve was a very accomplished artist. The Library has added a collection of art books for children to encourage new artists.

Sign up for our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Reading to a child helps with language development and so much more. It’s never too early to start reading to your children! If your children learn early to associate reading with pleasure, they are more likely to enjoy reading on their own when they are older. Stop by the Library to sign up.
